About Zaha Hadid

Zaha Hadid was born on October 31, 1950, Baghdad, Iraq, which was during a period of prosperity. It was where the government chose to invest in modernizing the cities architecture. So when Zaha was growing up she saw the full completion of buildings which were created by iconic architects like Frank Lloyd Wright and Le Corbusier.

When Zaha was starting her career, Zaha was inspired by an artist by the name of Kazimir Malevich.

Zaha went to an American University in Beirut to be in the field of mathematics. She then later moved to london in 1972 to study architecture at the architectural Association. When Zaha graduated in 1977 Zaha joiined the Office of Metropolitan Architechture.

In 1991 Zaha made her first building which was the Vitra Fire Station in Weil am Rhein, Germany. Throughout the years Zaha has made some really cool buildings. In 2015 Zaha started on her last and final building the Leeza SOHO tower in Beijing.

On March 31, 2016, Zaha had died from a heart attack in a medical center in Miami, Florida.
