OFFENSE/DEFENSE

Demolition

Demolition is a 4v4 game mode in Rogue Company. The attacking team is tasked with planting and defending a bomb. The defending team is tasked with finding and disarming the bomb. The winner of a match is determined once the bomb explodes, is defused, or all players on a team have been eliminated. Pushing hard toward an objective with your team is key on offense. But you also have to think about defense so the enemy team doesn't take away your position. Consider having a plan, but anything can happen in your 7 rounds of Demolition. After 6 rounds of offense or defense (what team you’re on is randomized) you will switch teams. The offense turns into defense vice-versa. Here are some examples that you can do in your rounds, featuring Phantom.

Defense

STANDING BEHIND WALL PHANTOMPhantom-Sniper class

In this example with Phantom, we see her hiding behind a wall waiting for the enemy team to push. With this Strategy, she can catch the enemies off guard and execute them fast. This is called defensive play, by defending your position.

Offense

OFFENSE PHANTOMPhantom-Sniper class

Depending on which character you choose depends on how a situation will turn out. Since Phantom is a Sniper character it will be harder to push an objective, but it is possible. Since the Sniper is not a machine gun and fires slowly, your best option is to use her pistol. (Or pick up another weapon from another character). This is where you have to have, some-what, of good skill for your weapon. As you can see Phantom is crouching. Crouching and rolling are great ways to dodge bullets or the enemies’ abilities.

Overall

OFFENSE PHANTOMPhantom-Sniper class

With Phantom, the best thing to do is hold a position, defend and snipe. If you hit your shots, you can eliminate enemies before they even make it to the objective. And you can protect your teammates as they either hold or push.

OFFENSE/DEFENSE

Strikeout

Strikeout is a 4v4 game mode where players fight for control of a single capture point that rotates from round to round. To capture an objective, players must hold it for thirty seconds. Any interruptions by the opposing will reset the counter. Upon capturing an objective, the opposing team will automatically lose 1 out of 16 lives. Strikeout is fast-paced. You will, mostly, attempt to push and eliminate. If you have teammates with fast characters you will most likely get a victory. But slower characters, probably, will complicate your one and one situations. Here are some good strategies/examples to better your performance, featuring Lancer.

Defense

DEFENSE LANCERLancer-Duelist class

In this example, just like Phantom, Lancer is standing behind a wall waiting for the enemy to push. In this instance, the enemy is pushing. So Lancer will roll and start attacking. She will most likely win because the enemy is caught off guard.

Offense

OFFENSE LANCERLancer-Duelist class

Lancer is a better option when going against 2 or more enemy players, because of her faster weapon. She is a fast character, she can roll quickly, and smoothly, making her eliminate multiple enemies at a faster rate, and taking over the objective away from them. If she runs out of ammo, she can quickly switch to her pistol, as her pistol is just as fast as her main.

Overall

OFFENCE LANCER2Lancer-Duelist class

To conclude, Lancer is a better character to push with and make quick attacks. In the picture above you can see a meter on the bottom of the picture. This is her using her ability, her ability being she can move faster and quietly, this is a big advantage to sneak behind the enemy team and eliminate as much as she can. Her team should push to the front, so the enemy players are surrounded everywhere.
