Grass King was founded as a side project by brothers John and Jack Smith in 1983. In 1988, Jack, fresh out of Tennessee Technological University with a BA in Business, took total of the business and transformed the small sidejob into a local legend. Grass King was awarded Tennessee Local Business of the Year in 1990, and have won the Tennessee State Business Award 7 times, the latest being 2018.

What sets Grass King apart from the competition is the promise that your yard will be serviced with the latest lawnservice machinery available and will be simutaniously worked on by a crew of up to six members, each of them specialized in a service of your request.
