Franklin Roosevelt

Franklin Roosevelt was president from 1933 to 1945, for four consecutive terms. He led the US out of the greatest economic crisis in history. FDR led the United States from isolationism to victory over Nazi Germany and its allies in World War II. His ambitious slate of New Deal programs and reforms redefined the role of the federal government in the lives of Americans.
