Charles Lindbergh

Charles Augustus Lindbergh was an American aviator, military officer, author, inventor, and activist.He is most famous for making a nonstop flight from New York City to Paris and winning the Orteig Prize. Although nonstop flights across the Atlantic Ocean had been done before, this was the first solo transatlantic flight.
