The CoD Black Ops series is one of the most well known game series in the current day. Even to this day, there are more Call of Duty games coming out almost every year, the newest in the black-ops series being "Black-Ops Cold War."

This page is going to show 3 out of 5 Black Ops games, as 4 and Cold War are simply following story-lines. Though Cold War does follow the series, bo4 is not necessarily a story-following game.

Black Ops zombies is probably the best series, not only in multiplayer or campaign, but also in zombies. It was a direct descendant of CoD World at War, the first CoD that included a zombies mode. In WaW, you would have to finish the campaign in order to play zombies as it wasn't expected to do well.

The second biggest series in Call of Duty is the Modern Warfare series.
